How It Works

Debit cards are bank cards provided to anybody who has a bank account. With a debit card a customer can go to any bank machine in the world to withdraw money from their account, or use it at a storefront to make a purchase instead of using cash. Now with the launch of the miniTeller™, DebitWay.com is making it possible for customers to enjoy that same convenience of instantaneous access to their bank account with a debit card when making online purchases.

Your Customers' Experience

The first step towards accepting payments through the miniTeller™ is to provide them to your clients. Merchants have the choice of either distributing the machines themselves or having DebitWay distribute them to your clients.

Once provided with their very own miniTeller™, a customer can go to your website and pay by sending you a direct cash payment using their debit card.

The miniTeller™ device is small, lightweight and easy to use. The customer simply needs to plug in the device to the USB port found on their PC or laptop. When checking out from a merchant's website they will be prompted to 'swipe' their debit card through the miniTeller™ and enter in their PIN number. Once the PIN is successfully entered the money is removed from the customer's account and transferred to the merchant's.

Security

The security of transactions processed through the miniTeller™ are of the utmost importance to us at DebitWay.com. Customer's love not having to enter in their bank account or credit card information which is necessary with other forms of online payments. By simply swiping their bank card they know that the information can not be viewed or stored by anyone and the information is processed instantly.

It is necessary for customers to enter in their PIN for their account. We have made this step of the transaction even more secure by implementing a numeric keypad on the payment page which has shifting numbers so the information entered can not be compromised by any click-capture technologies.
